HIPS AND HEARTS BELLY DANCE COMPETITION.
Presented by Idena and Ayesha's Oasis
Hips and Hearts is a new event that is dear to me. This belly dance competition joins artistic passions for Middle Eastern dance with shared passions for human kindnesses and community services. Each dancer selects a charity organization to sponsor, and creates her (or his) dance masterpiece to perform before a live audience and a panel of judges. Representatives from each charity organization will be in attendance to share information about their cause.

BETTER our community and our world by heightened awareness of problems and solutions. You will havce an opportunity to donate any amount according to your spirit and ability.
YOU HAVE A VOICE! Your donation counts as your vote for the Hips and Hearts title! Prizes are also awarded for 1st runner up and 2nd runner up.

13: Drum Solo Workshop with Idena
Learn techniques, musicality, and stage patterns to create and improve your own drum solo. We will work with a drum solo choreography and use combinations and theories from one of Idena's creations. Workshop participants will receive a copy of this choreography.
$25 in advance, $30 at the door.
